I think I'm going to try and make this more of my morning routine. It would definitely help them. And honestly, it's only a mile and about 15-20 minutes of effort. Did some easy yoga to work out some of the tightness from lifting yesterday. Felt good to stretch through some of the soreness this morning.

Did some lifting to get a feel for how to use my new space. Love it that I have a space and can workout again. Definitely going to start working and lifting for real. I need to remember to start small/light and go from there. Still, it's good to get start. :)

Did more lifts today. Legs feel a bit tight/tweaky since I ran earlier this week. Running is definitely weirding out my legs, but I want to do more of it. Guess I just need to keep it up.

Did some interval running and walking with the dog in the evening. He definitely needs to be trotted around a bit. Of course, I do too. :) The route I chose was basically flat, so I didn't really have to worry about inclines. I'll add that in later. Right now, I just want to get in the habit of getting out and doing something.

Managed to get in 4 sets throughout the day. I am definitely enjoying the movements. They help wake me up. Now I just have to get more sleep to see some of the benefits.

Trying an experiment to squat occasionally during the day. Did squats throughout the day, focusing on doing one set of 10 sporadically. I figured I needed to start doing more than I'm doing presently. Felt good to do something, even if it wasn't too much. I figure I can do this daily and have a decent benefit.

I feel fat and out of shape. My stomach seems bloated. I think this might have to do with all of the carbs/sugar I've been eating. I need to stop that and pick better snacks.

Did some quick workout stuff in the evening before bed. Did mostly one handed exercises. For the kettlebell swings, I did alternating sets of 5 with each hand until I had a total of 80 reps. For the shoulder presses, I did 6 per side. Felt good to get back into doing SOMETHING!

Did a different yoga routine this morning with the wife. This routine included/hit different areas of the body, including the hips and the QL. It's also a bit more aerobic than the typical routine. Nice change of pace.

Did 15 minutes this morning. Did a slightly different routine that focused on just sun salutations for 15 minutes. Not sure if I like it better than the old routine. The nice thing is, it definitely wakes me up for the rest of the workouts in the morning.

Did my first 10 swings two handed, then completed the rest one handed, alternating hands in sets of 10. Before I did my swings, I included some glute work to activate my glutes before the swings. Nice supplement to the swings in that the work also loosens the hips.
