Had a good ride yesterday evening. I was feeling a bit sleepy from the day's inactivity, but the ride helped wake me up in the afternoon. Since this was a shorter ride, I did a few harder efforts, including 2 - 1 minute efforts at RPE 8-9. This sat me at about 19.5 mph for the whole minute. Felt pretty good. One thing I noticed is climbing puts a definite sting in my legs. No fun there! Guess that means I need to do some short, sharp climbing efforts once in awhile to get the legs ready.
